Hello everyone. Long time reader, just had a friend as me a real good question about ticks.. He had a friend shoot a deer last year during the gun season and as you all remember it wasn't very cold and this 6pt was loaded with Ticks.. I mean they were everywhere and they were on this deer for a very long time cuz the deer looked like it had brown sacks all over it. The DNR said, nah your good to go.. Just where gloves or take it to the butcher and your good to go... What do you guys think??

IMO not a problem

Let it hang 1/2 hour or so and they all look for a better place to be

I have cleaned deer , tree rats and rabbits with them on thick
Never had a problem

Every deer I've killed through November around here is always infested with ticks, always start getting off when the hide starts cooling down. I HATE TICKS WITH A PASSION!
