Garmin parts

Well last week I screwed up and yanked on the power cord for the Garmin GPS I use in the truck
As the gauge cluster took a shit ( no speedometer ) , I sort of need it

Well I pulled the plastic cover loose and almost pulled the ground apart

So I figured OK , I will just buy a new power cable for it
The GPS is 6 years old , but still works perfictly

Went to Garmin's web site
$28 for the cord and $8 for the shipping

Then I looked at Cabela's web site
A new Garmin GPS
Normaly $159.99 on sale for $119.99
New style
Well also I had $63 in points
So it cost me $57 for it
And to top it off , I sm getting free shipping right now

So for $23 +tax out of pocket
I got a new GPS

I will still look for a power cord
But off one that dosn't work or I found dirt cheap

So I guess it pays to look around :pickle:
