This year i decided to do some spring food plots, so a few weeks ago i got the tractor out and borrowed a 3pt tiller from my boss let me tell you that makes things so much easier than they way ive done them in the past. i laid each plot out with a mix of corn, clover and alfalfa. thanks to a farmer who dumped about 60lb of seed corn while planting and told me i could have it. i planted the corn on the outsides of the plots to kinda conceal the deer while there in the plots thinking they might feel more comfortable if there not in the wide open. im hoping the corn grows good i had to do it the hard way by hand so i hope the work pays off. im gonna hang some cams this week on a few of the plots to get some good growth pics of the plots and to see how much traffic is in them already may have to fence them off. ill post more pics as i get them.

each plot is between a 1/4 to 1/2 an acre ive got some good growth so far but its still patchy not bad for a little less than two weeks growing. need to get some fertilizer on it like you guys said and pray for rain. should i fertilize the clover and alfalfa now or wait til it gets taller. i dont want to burn it or have something stupid happen.

Clover takes a low nitrogen fertilizer. Triple 19 for corn..
