Those names had to be the most retarded names they could have chosen. I would have rather seen "Plains and Lakes" than "legends and Leaders". flippin stupid. And Delaney had the nerve to say that he never expected the backlash that the names received.

Yes it does. Needless to say, it's about money. The NYC and D.C. markets are huge. The more exposure, the more money, more and better recruits. There's not a single negative thing about it. Just think about all the kids in the NE and coastal area that will be exposed to OSU, UM, and others. It's gonna become a 4 "Super Conference" scenario in a few years anyway. The Big 10 is just being proactive

Yeah that. Plus NJ is a hot bed for hs football so more of those kids will end up at Big Ten schools. Plus those schools should become better now that they are part of a major football conference.
