From Storage Tote to Wall Hanger

A friend of mine that helped me recently move got to carry my collection of skull plates and antlers.

While doing so he was in admiration of this 8 pointer with a broken brow tine so he asked if he could try to fix it up for me.

Here it is back to its original condition. This deer doesn't score well but does carry a 20.75" inside spread.

It's has now graduated from storage tote to wall hanger. He even put a plaque behind it.

One of the brow tines were broken off.

He cut one out of an old shed, ground it down, drilled it, pinned it, epoxy it back together, followed by a little brown shoe polish for cover.

I haven't got it back yet but he says it's a 12 incher (view the seam) that is.

Turned out better than I anticipated because I wasn't expecting a backboard and chamois skull cap either.
