Made a couple out of some low brass 7 1/2. The GF always burn Yankee candles and when they burn out she sets the rest of the candle in the glass jar on top of the woodstove. shot a couple today to take some pics and a vid for you guys.

Here is a piece of wood on top of another.

Results after splitting. The top piece is entry and you can see the depth of the shot.

Here is a smaller piece of wood

here is the results.

I'll do some long range accuracy tests later. These things hit hard for 7 1/2 shot and flu flu candle wax.

What did you use to form them?

You just cut the top of the shell right below the crimp, pour the shot it in a thing of melted wax, and fill the shell back up with the shot and liquid wax mixture. let them cool and top it off with a bit of wax. It's super simple. I made about 25 more this evening in about 45 min.

What choke are you using?

Improved. I figure you wouldn't want to shoot them out a tight choke but lots of guys say they're fine in a mod choke. A full can crack the slug and it'll fragment after exit turning it back into a regular load.
