Has anyone waterfowl hunted manitoba? I got a GREAT offer to come and hunt manitoba next season (13-14) for free. All I need to do is pay my way there, bring guns, ammo, and clothes. Got a cabin on the lake and all the hunting I want. Im a little excited if you cant tell!!!

So my true question has anyone hunted it? Whats the best time to go? Did you drive or fly?

I was up 10+ years back
Don't remember the dates
But I do remember we hunted early in the season

We saw and killed a lot of ducks and geese

Most of the young of the year ducks were funny looking
As the young drake mallards had 1/2 of a green head many times

I do know you can only take so many shells up , per person
And your brand / shot size may not always be avaible in small to Med sixed towns in Canada

We ended up shooting what ever shells we could find in town the last 2 days we hunted



I may be going somewhere in Canada this coming fall also
Just have to hope I am well enough
