Mag Restrictions for Coyote hunting?

I've seen a few threads in the past where this has been brought up, but just wanted to throw this out there to see if anything has changed in recent years that anyone is aware of.

Is there any restriction to using a 20/30 round mag when Coyote hunting, say with an AR15? How about transportation of the mags in the vehicle?

Had a buddy of mine ask me, and I really have no idea, and not a lot of time to look it up.

Thanks!

No restrictions other then over 30 round mags aren't legal in Ohio.

Only if not a .22 short, long, or long rifle

Some debate if legal to own and not use, but to use would require a $200 stamp from uncle sam same as a suppressor.

My understanding is that a loaded magazine is considered a loaded weapon. So load/unload the mag in the field.

Hate to tell on myself, but I'll be darned if I am unloading magazines when coyotes hunting. Unload rifle and remove magazine every time we move. I am not emptying the mag everytime though. Not gonna happen. That is silly.
