Picked up a couple boxes of the ballistic tipped rounds. 2 3/4. 1900 fps. 3/4 oz barnes ballistic tipped sabot. Zeroed at 150. +4 at 100. And -7 at 200. In this wind she managed this at 150 out of the old mossy 500 with a cantilever barrel.

I forgot my marker so I was lining up my crosshairs with the crease in the box

It's hard to beat the performance of Barnes Expanders on big game like deer. They flower and expand perfectly, retaining nearly 100% of their mass on impact. And best of all, they group really well too.

Do yourself a favor, Joe... If you like those rounds, buy all that you can find and afford right now. Federal discontinued using the Barnes Expander bullets in their sabot loads. Apparently Barnes' patent ran out, and now Federal is making their own version of it called "Trophy Copper." I have some of the new stuff for my 20 gauge. They seem to perform well on paper, but I haven't seen first-hand how they perform on deer yet.
