What do you think this 12 point will score?

We have been getting pics of this 12 point! We are pretty sure he is only 3.5 years old!! We would like to shoot only 4.5 or 5.5 year old bucks, but it would be hard to let this one walk!!! We think he is a 160 class buck!! What do you guys think? I am sure he will look much better in person!!

Those pictures do not do him justice. He has more than average mass I'd say. His tines and everything are so heavy it kind of fools you. My buddy found the shed off of him from last year. It was pretty heavy last year. I'd say he has 5 1/2" bases, and carries over 5" until the H3, and probably doesn't go below 4". His G3'S are about 12-13" were guessing. They were about 11 last year. His G2's are prolly 10". He has around 6" brows too. If you add it all up it is going to be upper 160's gross. Here are some measurements I came up with, and this is being conservative. He might be stronger on some, and less on others, but this will be close. Here are some better pics too.

The pic of him and the smaller buck is a 2.5 year old 120 to 125 inch 9 point that has be at my stand at least 25 times!

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but I think you're overestimating a bit on some of those measurements. I think he'll gross somewhere in the mid to upper 150s like Jesse said. Hell of a deer, nonetheless.

No, I don't think your being a dick. Your just giving your opinion. I would like to know what measurements you think I am overestimating? I am guessing that this deer will go 165" give or take 3 or 4 inches. So it could be 160-170 In my opinion. Gross of course Like I said we have the shed from last year. The G3's last year were almost 11" In the score I posted for this year I only put them at 11.5" I know they are prolly 12-13". This is a big deer too. I'm telling you the pics do it no justice. I killed an 8 point this year, and it scored 143 1/8 gross. Here's a 167" 10 point. IMHO, the two deer are not in the same ballpark. I'd have to sit down and put pen to paper, but 165 just seems high to me knowing this deer is 167. I'd like to see what Ric and JD have to say as they are the best at this game...

21" wide. 12-13" 3's...

When a buck is 5 -10 feet from a cam they tend to look a lot bigger than they really are... This buck will gross around 150-155 imo and net in the mid 140's...

I to will add I'm not trying to be a Schu or anything but that 8 is not a 143 inches gross. I'm seeing 130... Maybe my eyes are getting bad. I don't know...lol

Where he is standing compared to the camera is about 15 feet in front of it. Jesse this deer has quite a bit bigger brows, and bigger G4's, and also a G5 compared to the buck you posted. Plus it has bigger mass. I'm usually pretty good at guessing them score wise. I am usually within 5 inches. Like I said 165 Gross give or take a few inches. He'll net in the low to mid 150's. Hopefully we'll either get him, or find the sheds, and know the actual score! lol I'd like to see him get one more year though.
