A little background if you haven't heard about this yet. The Tom Gresham radio show invited the Wounded Warrior Project representatives too his show on Veterans day I believe is when it was too air, their PR dept declined with a BS statement (and I'm paraphrasing) about not wanting too be affiliated with guns due too the fact soldiers commit suicide with them..... I', posting the links too some of the pages that will show you the email traffic on it and the fallout because of it....

My Wife and I have been a big contributor too the WWP and they have done a lot of good things for our wounded Veterans, but like any organization I guess it gets big and some of the people lean a certain way that may differ from the original intent of the organization and things just need too surface and work themselves out.... Hopefully this will be the case, I'd hate too see people not donate due too the views of a few employees of the organization....

Take a minute too read it and let me know your take on it, and if you were a supporter would you still support after all this?????

Thanks Sam for pointing this one out too me and I've been reading all about it ever since I saw your email.....

Going to share this Sam and "J". I am stealing some of it now and passing it on. I rarely give other than locally but we have given to the WWP multiple times. Hmmm...

The wife and I have donated alot too the WWP and know of people who have benefited from it... Makes me think twice thinking that some liberals have taken it over and trying too make it politically correct.... Share away, that's why I posted it.... Sam turned me onto it and I don't think he'd mind as well....

We feel that the philosophy of the Wounded Warrior Project, as articulated by its director of public relations, to be one of denigrating guns and gun ownership.
